Transmitter tray ... anything handy I can share.
A wood transmitter tray inspired by today's modern acrylic trays.
Made from balsa epoxy-laminated with thin ply (material I had at hand). The bent wood are bookshelf brackets from the building supply store.
Weight tray 300 grams / 10.6 ounce. Tray + transmitter = 990 grams / 34.9 ounce.
Transmitter is fastened by only two tie-wraps up front. On the back there's a ledge to keep it in in the tray.
Distance eyelets to back side is about 4 cm. / 1.6”.
The ‘leather’ is plastic adhesive with a structure, which is nicer to the hands than lacquered wood.
